Radio And TV Should Be Regulated With Separate Mechanism: Minister Karki

Kathmandu, April 6: Addressing to the interaction programme today the Minister for Information and Communications Surendra Kumar Karki has claimed on the need of distinct mechanisms to deal with television and radio. The Interaction programme was based on the ‘necessity of digitalized television’. The minister further has said Ministry alone could not handle the acts of providing operation license to radio and television and regulate them that’s why the formation of separate authorized bodies is needed to reduce the load of the Ministry’s works.
